As a direct result of the most recent renewals of the approaches promoted by the EU in the field of sustainability and corporate governance – ESG, as well as the imposition in the current terminology of the innovative concept of leadership of sustainable competitiveness within the European single market, the Honorary International Chair” Jean Bart” (CIO-SUERD, member of the EUSDR Consultative Council – Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), platform for the internationalization of education founded with the kind support of the Romanian Academy, initiates the Professional Alliance of European Sustainable Competitiveness Brand Ambassadors / Leaders.
Such an initiative is also closely aligned with the global efforts undertaken by the International Science Council (ISC, Paris) whose representative is the Romanian Academy. The implementation of this initiative in practical terms aims to capitalize on existing synergies, as well as greater coherence with regard to the UN SDG 2030 Agenda, especially the pillars promoted in the context of the International Decade of Sustainability Sciences by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), under the auspices of the Secretary General UN: world population, our planet, prosperity, peace and partnerships.
